iTunes 7.7.1 available

Apple has just released an update for iTunes.
The release notes says it  “includes fixes to improve stability and performance.” Apple has never been clear on what changes are made at the back-end except when new features are released. We suspect this update might include changes for the upcoming iPhone/iPod firmware 2.1 2.01.

Apple pushing Mobile Me

It seems Apple is over the fiasco that is Mobile Me and is ready to push it to new users. I got the following message today when I connected my iPhone to my Mac -

I hope Apple is really sure that they are ready for this, before more people are “pushed” this troubled service.
