AT&T just made a press release which confirms that in the future they are going to sell the 3G iPhone (8GB) for $599 without a contract. The 16GB version will sell for $699.

That brings the price to approximately Rs. 24,000 for the 8GB version.

What do you think? Affordable? Better deal than the Blackberries/Treos and WinMo devices?
