I am writing this post from my iPod touch using the Wordpress app. The app is free in India and elsewhere and works very well with your existing Wordpress installation.

It even lets you add pictures to a post from your photo library or; in case of an iPhone, allows you to take one with the built-in camera. You can preview the post, however in the current version the preview does not show any pictures. They show up once the post is published.

Update (made from the good old web-based interface): After completing this post, I was a little confused about how I should publish it. The UI didn’t have any obvious “Publish” button. It then occurred to me that to publish a post, I had to change the post’s status to Published and then hit Save:
